Dr. Liliane Hay is a board-certified pediatrician who has been in private practice since 1995. She earned her medical degree in 1990 from St. Joseph University’s French Faculty of Medicine in Lebanon. She then completed additional training in tropical medicine at René Descartes University in Paris, France, before relocating to the United States in 1992. There, she completed her pediatric internship at the University of South Florida / Tampa General Hospital and her residency at Yale University / Bridgeport Hospital, becoming board certified in pediatrics in 1995.
Throughout her career, Dr. Hay has practiced pediatrics in diverse settings. She began in DeRidder, Louisiana, where she served as Chair of the Pediatric Department at Beauregard Memorial Hospital. She later joined a large family practice group in San Antonio before moving to Houston, where she joined the faculty at Baylor College of Medicine as an Assistant Professor in the Pediatric Emergency Department at Texas Children’s Hospital. In 2007, Dr. Hay founded Memorial City Pediatrics. As a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and former President of the Harris County Medical Society West Branch, she remains actively engaged in pediatric education and organized medicine.
Fluent in English, French, Arabic, and medical Spanish, Dr. Hay connects authentically with families from diverse backgrounds. As a wife and mother of three, she brings personal understanding and empathy to her work with families navigating the challenges and joys of childhood.
Beyond medicine, Dr. Hay is an accomplished pianist who actively participates in multiple piano performances, most prominently the yearly Piano Doctors recital. She also enjoys singing in a choir and is an avid skier, hiker, and scuba diving enthusiast.
Dr. Hay’s philosophy centers on high-quality, evidence-based pediatric care with a strong emphasis on prevention and early guidance. She is dedicated to empowering parents with the knowledge and reassurance they need during the transformative early years of childhood.
